Friday July 26th we invite you out to an evening filled with music, baseball and vibes, as the Oakland Ballers recognize, celebrate, and pay homage to artists that are making waves, keeping Oakland on the map, and bringing The Town to the World.

In our inaugural season, the Ballers are honored to host a live performance by Oakland’s very own Jwalt, considered the next hip-hop star emerging from the Bay Area. Throughout the evening, fans will be treated to performances by the dancers from Turf Inc, the viral dance crew known for their signature Turf dance style, who will also be engaging with the youth around the park.

About Jwalt: Justin Carter Walton, best known as Jwalt, is a Grammy-considered charting recording artist, songwriter, published author, and poet from Oakland, California. Recognized as Oakland's next hip-hop star by Bay Area media, Jwalt has shared stages with renowned artists such as Nas, Wu-Tang, Common, Talib Kweli, E-40, G-Eazy, T-Pain, and Sheila E.
About Turf Inc: TURF INC's mission is to spread the original dance culture of TURF, established in Oakland, California, and to utilize it as a positive platform for dancers, the youth, and the overall community.
About Ian Kelly: Ian Kelly, an Oakland-born rapper, found his artistic voice after relocating to North Carolina, where he signed with Jamla Records. His music, characterized by vivid storytelling and introspection, explores themes of personal growth and resilience, notably in his albums "ChampIan" and "Kells is D.E.A.D.," which reflect his journey of self-discovery and the challenges of staying connected to his Bay Area roots.
About Mani Draper: Mani Draper, an Oakland rapper and founding member of the hip-hop collective Grand Nationxl, is known for his introspective lyrics and resilient spirit.
